TURKISH ACCOUNTANTS NETWORK UNITED KINGDOM

About TAN UK

Turkish Accountants Network UK (TAN UK) is an independent professional network for Turkish-speaking accountants, accounting technicians and finance professionals in the United Kingdom. It was founded in October 2026.

Why it exists

There is no shortage of Turkish-speaking accountants in this country. We are simply scattered. We read the same HMRC guidance separately, learn about the same Companies House change separately, have nobody to ask when we are looking for someone to hire, and cannot reach anyone who has already been through the AAT or ACCA process. The network exists to close that distance.

Three areas of work

  • Regulation. Tracking changes to HMRC, Companies House, Making Tax Digital, VAT, payroll and AML obligations, and the practical questions that come with them.
  • Hiring. Connecting practices looking for staff with colleagues looking for work.
  • Certification. Sharing experience of AAT, ATT, ACCA and similar exam, licensing and practical experience requirements.

Independence

TAN UK is not affiliated with any accountancy practice, commercial organisation or professional body. It is not a professional institute or a regulator, and it grants its members no licence, authority or title. Members remain accountable to their own regulatory bodies.

Information shared within the network is general in nature and is not a substitute for personal professional advice. Make your own assessment and confirm it against the official source before acting on it.

Founder

The network was founded and is run by Kürşat Ulusoy, an AAT Licensed Accountant (MAAT) based in South London. He also holds the Turkish SMMM (serbest muhasebeci mali müşavir) qualification.
